Dear Class 3,

In the Autumn Term we are learning all about Anglo Saxons and Vikings.

Over the summer holiday, it would be wonderful if you could find out a little bit of information ready for our new theme. 

Here are some activities you could try with your family:

• Create a Viking shield, sword or boat
• Learn about a Viking myth and create a comic strip or picture book for it
• Learn about Viking runes and write your name with them
• Create a poster about everything you find out about Vikings and Anglo Saxons.

I look forward to seeing and hearing about what you found out when you return to school on Tuesday 8^th September.
