Dear Class 2,

I am very excited to introduce our new topic for the Autumn Term – Kings, Queens and Castles! 

Over the summer holiday, it would be wonderful if you could find out a little bit of information ready for our new theme. 

Here are some activities you could try with your family:

• visit a castle or look at pictures online
• build your own castle, you could use Lego or old cereal boxes to create your castle 
• think about who might live in the castle and make some little figures to go with your castle
• write a story about what happens in your castle

I look forward to seeing and hearing about what you found out when you return to school on Tuesday 8^th September.
