I don’t think anyone at the beginning of 2020 could have imagined we would be in the situation we are today and that is probably as well. These are challenging times for everyone of what ever age. It feels like our world and all we know has been turned upside down. In many ways that is at the heart of Easter, the status quo was turned upside down. Out of the devastation of Good Friday and the crucifixion of Jesus there came Easter Sunday, the stone was rolled away, the resurrection brought new life, new hope and an expression of profound love. During all that is happening I am thankful for my garden for the signs of Spring and new life, the birds are building their nests, the flowers are starting to bloom, they are signs of hope. We have seen many acts of kindness and been reminded of what is important in life, the precious loving relationships that we all hold dear.
