Global Neighbours

Our school is becoming part of ‘Christian Aid Global Neighbours’ and in September we launched this initiative with a visit from Sue Tite from Christian Aid. In our Collective Worship we thought about what it means to be a ‘good neighbour’ by looking at what the Bible says.

Mrs Tite then visited each class to talk further about the work of Christian Aid and how each class will be learning about being a global neighbour linked to our themed topics. For example, Years 1, 2 and 3 are learning about car fumes affecting children in our studies about London, Year 4 the exploitation of people linked to their work on the Stone Age, and Years 5 and 6 deforestation, its effects on the world and people, as they learn about the Aztecs.
