Reporting Safeguarding Concerns
We have a team of Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs) whom you can contact if you have any safeguarding concerns. Please do not hesitate to contact using the links below (Key Safeguarding Contacts at Barmby Moor CE Primary School).
Your child's class teacher is also always there for you to voice any concerns to, however, please be aware that they may need to escalate the information in line with our safeguarding policy (a copy can be found on this page and on our Policies page of our website).
Urgent concerns
If you have immediate concerns about the safety of a child please call 999 if the child is in immediate danger or a crime is being committed.
Contact Humberside Police on 101 if a crime is being committed but there is no immediate danger.
At Barmby Moor CE Primary School the pupils are at the heart of everything that we do and are our responsibility and concern. We work in partnership with parents and consider it a priority to inform and involve the parents at every stage in their child’s time at the school.
There may be rare occasions when concerns about a child mean that we have to consult other agencies even before we contact the parents. The East Riding Safeguarding Children Board has laid down the procedures we follow, and the school has adopted a Child Protection Policy in line with this to ensure the safety of everyone.
Please find below the school and Local Authority contacts should you have any concerns, queries or need further information:
Designated Safeguarding Lead: Mr J Baxter
Deputy Safeguarding Lead: Mrs M Carr
Designated Safeguarding Governor: Mr S Williamson
or contact the school office directly to talk to someone - barmbymoor.primary@eastriding.gov.uk or telephone 01759 304409
