Key Stage 1 is also referred to as 'infants' and includes EYFS, Year 1 and Year 2. Below you can download a copy of the National Curriculum 2014, which contains Programmes of Study for Key Stage 1.

Reading Schemes in Key Stage 1

We use Oxford Reading Tree books (including Floppy's Phonics non-fiction range, Project X and Songbirds phonic range), Rigby Starr and Collins Big Cat books.

We follow the Letters and Sounds document for phonics, introducing each sound through Jolly phonics.
